personality: kermie is grumpy in a gentle way

he pretends not to enjoy things, but absolutely does

complains when moved, but then immedietly gets comfy

likes routine and will notice when something is different

secretly very loyal and will sit with you during bad days

loves to complain

grump level decreases significantly when near snacks

kermie comes from a very small, very muddy pond that no longer exists because it was “too busy.”

he was known there as:

“that frog who always sits in the same spot.”

kermie left the pond after deciding:

the water was never the right temperature

the flies were unreliable

and everyone else splashed too much

now, kermie lives indoors where:

the lighting is controllable

the surfaces are dry

and no one expects him to hop unless he feels like it

despite his grumpiness, Kermie believes (quietly) that he is doing a very important job:

keeping things calm by sitting nearby and judging gently.
